The Zhongzhao Lighting Award is the only award officially approved by the National Science and Technology Awards Office in the field of lighting in China. This award aims to reward organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in scientific research, technological innovation, lighting engineering, promotion and application of scientific and technological achievements, urban lighting construction and management in the field of lighting at home and abroad. Aiming to improve the scientific and technological level, lighting appliance manufacturing, and engineering application level in China's lighting field, cultivate Chinese brands and enhance international competitiveness, lead industry innovation and development, and promote the progress of China's lighting technology industry. This award is divided into two categories: Zhongzhao Lighting Engineering Design Award and Zhongzhao Lighting Urban Construction Award.
On November 11, 2020, the 15th "Zhongzhao Lighting Award" ceremony was held in Suzhou. The "Zhongzhao Lighting Award" was selected by experts organized by the Chinese Lighting Society, and was finally selected as the highest award in the industry through a process of preliminary review, evaluation, public announcement, and final review.
The night lighting project of the leisure supporting project Phase II (commercial street) of Wuzhen Yada International Park, designed by the ELD lighting design team, won the second prize of the "Zhongzhao Lighting Award" lighting engineering design award (outdoor/block), and the Xi'an Old Steel Plant Design Creative Industry Park won the third prize of the "Zhongzhao Lighting Award" lighting engineering design award (outdoor/block).
