The MUSE Design Awards is a part of the MUSE Awards Program, founded by the International Awards Associate (IAA) in 2015. The MUSE Design Awards is a design competition aimed at outstanding designers on an international scale. The MUSE award levels are platinum, gold, and silver. In October 2021, MUSE Design Awards announced the list of global winners for the year 2021. In the category of lighting design, more than 60 award-winning works were produced worldwide, among which ELD won multiple crowns, including two highest awards of white gold and one gold. All participating projects won awards, adding another honor to the lighting design industry.

Yixing Yada Yangxian Xishan Town Center wins MUSE Platinum Award

Yixing Yada Town Center (Yada · Yangxian Xishan) is located on the south side of Yangxian Lake in Hujian Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. The project is situated by the mountains and water, with pleasant scenery. The architectural form of the park is integrated into the mountains, waters, and tea gardens, creating an irreplaceable ecological environment for elderly care. The entire project showcases the profound cultural heritage of Yixing and the characteristics of traditional residential blocks. As the living and commercial center of Yada Yangxian Xishan, as well as the tourist gathering center of Yangxian Ecotourism Resort, the town center takes into account the overall architectural landscape layout, business distribution planning, and pedestrian flow planning. Through the sorting of the overall architectural design and the use of different lighting techniques, the architecture, landscape, commerce, and tourists are organically connected, thus creating an elegant, peaceful, and hidden atmosphere of leisure in the mountains and waters.

Yixing Dongpo Pavilion wins MUSE Gold Award

Dongpo Pavilion is a landmark landscape architecture of Yixing Yada Ecological Health Industrial Park. Built along the mountain, Dongpo Pavilion stretches and twists, hiding in the shape of the mountain and blending seamlessly into the mountains and rivers. The overall lighting design concept also changes with the mountain shape and architecture, and is integrated with the overall lighting atmosphere of the Yiyang Town. The Dongpo Pavilion architectural complex is composed of three mountain gates: Dongda, Qiankun, and Zhongbo, as well as a corridor. The lighting technique of Dongpo Pavilion focuses on pursuing a balance between artificial light and natural sky light, creating a winding and peaceful atmosphere, providing visitors with a comfortable light environment experience for overlooking Yangxian Lake.
